Stine Seed Company has earned a national Best of NAMA Award for its stineseed.com online seed catalog from the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA). The award was announced at the organization’s annual conference in Kansas City on April 16.
NAMA is the nation’s largest professional association for experts in marketing and agribusiness with members from agricultural companies, industry associations, educational institutions and marketing agencies serving agriculture.
Stine partnered with Trilix Marketing Group, Urbandale, Iowa, to develop the stineseed.com online catalog with the intent of providing the most up-to-date seed brand information to growers, dealers, and sales force staff.
Stine is a performance brand and our online tools are designed to help our customers, dealers and staff easily locate information and compare the product details they need to make informed seed-buying decisions,” says David Thompson, Director of Marketing, Stine Seed Company. “This Web component is just one of the innovative developments growers can expect to see over the coming months. We’re also looking forward to the launch of LibertyLink® soybeans which will be available through Stine for the 2009 growing season and are having great response to our ARCA car sponsorship.”
Stine won the Best of NAMA Interactive Marketing Tools category over some of the largest companies in the U.S. Other noted national competitors were:
- Award of Merit – John Deere
- National Finalists – Syngenta, Novartis Animal Health, Pioneer Hi-Bred International and Dow AgroSciences.
“As the largest and, in fact, one of the only independent seed companies operating on a national scale in the U.S. today, it means a great deal for Stine to be recognized by our peers at NAMA,” Thompson adds.
The stineseed.com online catalog was developed as a component of an overall redesign of Stine’s online presence phased in over the past two years. Trilix Marketing Group worked with Thompson to custom build the Web site to include the online catalog, dealer searches and videos of Stine founder, Harry Stine, as well as key sales and agronomic personnel.
“We are honored to have been involved in this award-winning project,” says Todd Senne, President, Trilix Marketing Group. “Stine Seed Company is on the cutting edge of technology, as evidenced by their recent number one ranking by the Patent Board. We are privileged to serve clients such as Stine who want innovation and have the courage to try new ways to bring value to their customers.”
