Faith Hedrick
Field Agronomist
Joined Stine Seed Company 2023
What started as an internship in 2022 has blossomed into a budding career for Stine field agronomist Faith Hedrick. As an intern, Faith spent the summer traveling Stine’s Region 12 (northwestern Illinois) to scout plots, take stand counts and support our independent sales reps in the region. Now, Faith serves as a field agronomist, where her No. 1 goal is to ensure, with the help of the rest of the agronomy team, that Stine is putting out the best products in the seed industry. Faith is tasked with walking our plots and observing our current and experimental products to gain insights on performance and proper field placement.
Faith’s background in agriculture runs deep, having been born and raised in rural central Illinois in a farming family. She received her Associate of Science degree from Illinois Valley Community College and then graduated with her Bachelor of Science in crop science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She credits her family and her uncle, Daron Judd, for playing an instrumental role in pointing her toward agriculture.
Faith enjoys spending time with family, in addition to antiquing and being outside — including hiking, biking, gardening and being on the lake.
